Presentation SRH
Created on 27 November 1997, Société de Refinancement Hypothécaire (Mortgage Refinancing Company) is a financial institution approved by Bank of Algeria pursuant to Decision No. 98-01 dated 1st September 1998, which has the status of a Public Economic Enterprise, a joint stock company with an initial share capital of 3,290,000,000 Algerian Dinars, increased several times, most recently in June 2021, thus reaching 6,500,000,000 Algerian Dinars.

Le processus de titrisation transmet le risque de crédit du vendeur (établissement cédant) de créances aux actifs vendus. Les investisseurs retrouvent plus d’assurance du fait qu’ils ne doivent plus se préoccuper de la solvabilité de l’établissement cédant, mais seulement de la solvabilité attribuée au groupement d’actifs détenus par l’organisme de titrisation. La santé financière de l’établissement cédant est une préoccupation seulement si elle est relative à sa capacité d’agir en tant qu’agent désigné pour la gestion et recouvrement des créances cédées, une fois qu’elles sont titrisées.

The missions of SRH are
To support the government’s strategy aimed at enhancing financial intermediation for housing finance, in order to reduce pressure on the state budget in terms of housing finance;
To participate in the development of the financial market and promote the granting of mortgage loans, by enabling banks and financial institutions to carry out this activity under comfortable liquidity conditions.
To carry out real estate leasing operations for industrial, commercial and professional use with any natural or legal person governed by public or private law, Algerian, and any other operations defined by the legislation and regulations in force that are directly related to the Company’s purpose.
